What is the aim of the course?
This course aims to enable you to understand the theory of dentistry and to implement it in practice to improve the dental health of your patients.

Advanced Veterinary Nurse
I am a 12-year qualified veterinary nurse who has worked in small animal practice as both a head nurse and a practice director. I have been working with the Learning, Education and Development team since January 2020, looking after the nursing programme.
I have my Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and recently obtained my Masters degree in Veterinary Nursing. I have a special interest in medical nursing and love supporting nurses in all aspects of their learning.
Leigh Hinsley
Head Veterinary Nurse
Leigh qualified in 2009 and currently works as Head Nurse at YourVets in Sheldon. She has her BVNA qualification in oral care and has completed practical courses in dentistry. Leigh has had a varied career and counts helping complete a dental on a bear in 2011 as one of her highlights.
